Warchée x USJ en Mission – 2021 Collaboration
In 2021, USJ en Mission partnered with Warchée to support women’s empowerment through vocational training. As part of this collaboration, our team visited our beneficiaries, women, both adults and students, to introduce them to the Warchée School of Woodworking (Menuiserie).
The initiative aimed to encourage women to explore the field of woodworking, a domain traditionally dominated by men, and to provide them with the skills necessary to create, design, and build using wood. Beyond technical training, the program also focused on entrepreneurial development, enabling participants to transform their new skills into opportunities to launch their own businesses and generate sustainable income.
This collaboration reflected USJ en Mission’s commitment to empowering communities and Warchée’s mission of opening doors for women in non-traditional careers, fostering independence, creativity, and professional growth.
