Al-Mazeed & Hôtel-Dieu de France Collaboration –Hospital Support Program (2023)
The collaboration between Al-Mazeed and Hôtel-Dieu de France (HDF) in the field of hospital support in 2023 has been a true source of hope and significant assistance for patients in need.
Thanks to the generosity of our individual donors, we successfully raised an impressive amount of 5,000 USD and 7,890 EUR.
These funds were used effectively to provide vital support to HDF patients, covering 10% to 15% of their medical bills.
A Targeted and Transparent Process
The process begins with HDF’s social workers, who carefully review patients’ profiles and medical files. Once the needs are clearly identified, this information is transmitted to Al-Mazeed for payment confirmation. This targeted approach ensures that funds are directed towards the most urgent and critical cases, thereby maximizing the positive impact of every donation.
Impact on Patients and Families
Thanks to these donations, we have been able to support 12 patients facing diverse medical conditions. This included essential medical care, surgical interventions, specialized treatments, and other crucial healthcare services. The impact of this financial aid is tangible, as it has enabled many families to better manage the high costs associated with complex health conditions.
Responsible and Professional Fund Management
It is also important to highlight that these donations were managed with full transparency and professionalism. Funds were transferred to our bank accounts in Lebanon in USD. A significant contribution came from the Lycée Saint Louis de Gonzague – Franklin. An additional portion was allocated through the OMCFAA (Œuvre des Missions Catholiques Françaises d’Asie et d’Afrique) in France in euros. This responsible financial management guarantees that every cent is used effectively for the benefit of HDF patients.
