Course: volunteering and citizenship action

Course: volunteering and citizenship action (November 2021 – December 2021)
Within the framework of the course: “volunteering and citizenship action”, USJ en Mission organized trainings for USJ students on children with special needs.
In October, the class carried out an activity with street children, the aim of which was to allow these children to experience their childhood through small games, and to make society aware of this problem.
Games were played with the children instead of making them work, and flyers were distributed to people explaining the purpose of the activity.
In November, the class visited the SOS children’s village in Bhersaf, an association that welcomes children with special needs. The title of the activity was “I CAN”.
The students organized activities and games where the children experimented and discovered different skills.
5 rotating workshops: Cooking, Science Experiments, Agriculture, Crafts, Children’s Rights Games.
