Call center (august 2020 – September 2020)
On Thursday, August 6, a call center, located at Université Saint-Joseph – Campus of Medical Sciences, was put in place. Its mission consisted of contacting the USJ community (students, faculty members and employees) living in Beirut, in order to assess damages and enquire about their needs.
A hotline was also installed, in the possession of Raoul Antoun (Law student at USJ and member of the student council), who was also in charge of the call center.
A database grouping all call received was created and made accessible to all team members.
19.4% of the People called needed help, around 3000 people have been contacted.
Of these 3000 people, 582 have called for help wi th renovations, cleaning debris, medication, hospitalization or psychological help.
